TIP: Am I a Positive Networker?

When we started Shepa Learning we termed our type of networking Positive Networking®, it’s not about you, it’s discovering what you can do for others. At the time transactional networking was very much the thing.

To our surprise Positive Networking® really resonated with people--Hey, that kind of networking isn’t pushy or selly!

Here are the simple things that positive networkers do, they: make others feel comfortable, make others feel liked, ask more questions to show genuine interest in them or their work/life, always rescue wallflowers, open the circle if someone wants to join the group, share their friends and contacts, are always on the lookout to help, are known as connector, stay on people’s radar, are kind and memorable. Positive Networkers don't think "what did I get from that person?", instead they think "what did that person get from meeting me?"

To be a Positive Networker all you really need to know is this…."People will never forget how you made them feel."
