Our Foundation
The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce (TCACC) Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in 2002 to promote community and workforce development in western Montgomery, southeastern Berks, and northern Chester Counties. An affiliate of the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce, the Foundation solicits funds from Chamber Member businesses to support community development and leadership programs. The Foundation also provides funding for initiatives that support the vocational career development needs of the community. The following initiative is sponsored by the TCACC Foundation:
Leadership Tri-County
This
program sustains community participation and involvement by training
and providing new and emerging business leaders with the expertise to
serve on the boards of local nonprofit organizations. Participants
attend ten monthly, full-day sessions, each focused on a topic that
addresses the needs of the community. The outcomes of the program
include class participants working together to complete a project that
will benefit the tri-county area nonprofit community. In addition, upon
graduating from the program, each participant serves on a board or
committee for a local nonprofit organization. To learn more about

Educational Improvement Organization (EIO)
REQUEST A K-12 VOCATIONAL CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROJECT PROPOSAL APPLICATION
The
TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. has been approved
by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to receive monies from businesses
under Act 4 of 2001, which amended the Public School Code to authorize
tax credits for businesses that make contributions to educational
improvement organizations. Designated as an EIO by the Pennsylvania
Department of Community and Economic Development, the TCACC Foundation,
Inc. funds vocational career development programs for students in grades
Kindergarten through 12th grade in Chamber Member public school districts. These programs are designed and implemented by area educators and approved by the Foundation’s Advisory Board.
Businesses
may contribute to the Foundation’s EIO program by providing career
information, training, resources, and/or monetary donations. Under PA
public school code, businesses who donate funds to an EIO are eligible
to receive 75 to 90 percent PA state tax credits on contributions up to
