HEALTH
TREASURE YOURSELF

In or out of the workplace, everyone’s health is something to treasure. Access to quality health care is a key component to a truly livable community. The tri-county area has a treasure trove of family physicians, orthopedic specialists, surgeons and rehabilitation, nursing and assisted living facilities. There are also several non-profit organizations in the region that are dedicated to creating awareness and education on health issues.

These organizations include:

Worksite Wellness Initiative
Happy, healthy employees are generally more engaged, energized and empowered. When employees are feeling happy and motivated, they make better decisions.
To achieve a healthy workplace, companies can turn to the TriCounty Worksite Wellness Initiative.
• This dedicated team conducts six-month programs to guide businesses through the process
• A coordinator is available to train the company, meet monthly to check progress, and help plan events
• Although eating well and moving are key elements of a healthy lifestyle, the TriCounty Worksite Wellness recognizes that all dimensions of wellness – social, emotional, mental, financial, spiritual – are important
