Tip: How do you know when you are talking too much?

An article in The Economist entitled “The rules for verbal exchanges are surprisingly enduring” shares conversation expert Margaret Shepherd’s straight-up advice on how to know when you are talking too much:

“Never speak uninterrupted for more than four minutes at a time”

“If you are the only person who still has a plate full of food, stop talking.”

We like it, short and simple. :)
