Businesses join the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce because they are searching for one or more of the following: Networking, Advocacy, Cost Savings, and/or Resources. The most common reason is the search for a new network. Networking not only offers Members the opportunity to build new relationships throughout the region, but it also opens the door for them to exchange ideas with other talented leaders in business, community, and government.
Through our Advocacy efforts, Chamber Members have the opportunity to participate on public policy committees that address business and governmental issues of interest to Member organizations, ensuring their voice will Be Heard.
The Chamber's Board of Directors endorses benefit programs that provide Cost Savings to the Chamber Membership. These include affinity discount programs, money-saving tickets to area attractions, Coupon Program, complimentary Reading Phillies tickets, and much more.
Businesses need access to Resources that assist in their growth and success. Membership provides a number of communication resources to Be Seen and Be Heard. This very website, receiving over 500,000 page views per year, provides the most up-to-date information on the tri-county area. The Chamber's newsmagazine, the Route 422 Business Advisor, is an award-winning monthly publication distributed to over 10,000 tri-county area businesses. The newsmagazine highlights Chamber Member businesses, events, legislative issues, and much more. In addition, Members can sign up to receive the Chamber's weekly e-newsletter, containing event reminders and information on benefits of membership.
